The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees , who set and oversee the delivery of our strategy and support the work of the Foundation throughout the year.
(Chairman, Board of Trustees) is Partner, Blackstone & Associates. A commercially astute lawyer qualified in Nigeria in 2009 and in the UK in2005, with a background in finance and a strong foundation in real estate, Mr. Hunponu-Wusu brings a different approach to transaction with a keen eye for detail. Demonstrating an ability to structure complex deals and still maintain an eye on the big picture, he honed his craft in such places as Reed Smith and LSEC in the UK as well as the best firms in Lagos as Olaniwun Ajayi and Babalakin &Co.
An entrepreneur with interests in property as well hospitality, he is the CEO of The Banana Island Patisserie and Blackstone Luxury Property Development.

Henry Abiodun Sanyaolu, Head of Commercial Law at Legal Resources Alliance, a leading law firm in Nigeria with offices in Lagos and Abuja studied Estate Management at the University of Lagos before going on to study law at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. After being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004 he proceeded to obtain a Master’s Degree in Energy Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland.
Titi is a trained lawyer with over 25 years at the Nigerian bar. She is self-motivated and capable of working under pressure. Her legal knowledge and competency has helped her pivot into her role as a leading entrepreneur and career professional within the Oil & Gas sector. Additionally, as founder and managing director of a sole proprietorship in the beauty & wellness industry, Titi has over a decade of experience in business management.
Olaolu Adefarasin is a Pastor Laolu Adefarasin is the wife of Pastor Wale Adefarasin and a Pastor of Guiding Light Assembly. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1981 and practiced briefly with the law firm of Impey & Coker. She leads OASIS, the GLA women’s Ministry, which convenes colloquiums, retreats and other activities which help women to deal with real life issues especially those peculiar to women.
Jumoke Ogundipe, owner of Maxy’s, a Nigeria-based cake and dessert company birthed in 2016 studied Culinary Arts at Westminster Kingsway College, London. With over five years work experience in the hospitality industry in London including a 5-Star hotel and an American cake company before returning to Nigeria in 2014, Mrs Ogundipe is passionate about family, baking and helping people.
